What is YMK?
You Must Know is a domain of facts, news, information, biographies and much more. It is meant for educational purpose, established as a platform for obtaining, analyzing and sharing knowledge. It aims to keep the readers updated with the happenings all around us.
Knowledge lies in every corner of this universe, expanding itself every second. The question is: how do we pick up what is most important of all these bits of information?
You Must Know provides a simple solution to this question, forming a space where people can easily have a look at the most important and useful pieces of information, without messing their minds with hundreds of useless junk posts that the Internet is fraught with nowadays.
YMK, created more than 9 years ago, has made a vast audience base of over 71 thousand and is still expanding at a rapid rate.
About the Author
YMK was established on 25 May 2011 by Prakhar Prasoon, a then 7th-grade student. His keen interest in learning and gaining information from magazines, books, newspapers etc. led him to form this enriching platform where he could share what he gained with the interested learners out there.
Much inspired by Dr. AP.J. Abdul Kalam, he has truly followed his saying: “Learning gives creativity. Creativity leads to thinking. Thinking provides knowledge. Knowledge
Prakhar is a Forensic graduate and is currently pursuing his Master's from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. He is passionate about self-growth and spends most of his time away from the crowd, learning as much as possible, pondering over it and going on to share it with those as interested in learning as he is, through YMK, a blog he is the sole admin of.
Vision 2020
YMK, though initially started as a hobby, is now working hard towards sharing quality information which can be helpful to the people of all age groups, and thereby, reach out to all those looking for a simple way of leading this world that is dominated by learners.
As a member of YMK, one has to be aware that knowledge does not come to one's doorstep. It is our duty to seek out.
We are currently on a mission which we like to call ‘Vision 2020’. Towards it, we are working on publishing a monthly e-magazine which will be available on YMK soon. It will be free of cost and contain all the monthly updates as well as important facts.
We would like to thank all the people who have supported us throughout the journey, though it is not the end. We have planned so much for the future of YMK and are working on it relentlessly. There is lot more to come. And we promise to stand by our convictions. So, stay tuned, folks! :)
